Broadly much of the discussion centers around the difference between a
dialog getting focus and a control getting focus, but I regard that as
purely a technical issue. Alex wants it one way to make the technical
aspects easier (that dialogs do not get focus), if I understand right,
which I probably do not. I'm fine with that anyway.

An outstanding issue is the Options dialog. Look at it. It breaks almost
all your rules.

But we sort of concluded we'd make them follow the rules and see how bad
they turn out.
