Another place to look is the Open Clip Art Library which has SVG files available in the public domain, (by using the public domain statement drafted by Creative Commons): http://openclipart.org/ The browsing interface can be a bit hard to find/use, but this might be a good starting place: http://openclipart.org/cgi-bin/navigate/computer/icons/ (The trick with browsing is that it doesn't always present all of the graphics within a given category---that is, you sometimes need to push down into the specific sub-categories to see some of the graphics). The selection there is rather mixed-bag in terms of quality, but there are some non-trivial icon sets that were obviously designed to look good together. So there might at least be something to serve as a starting point if nothing else. -Carl
