Aargh! The problem is this:

...
from /usr/local/include/camtypes.h:135,
...

I have (for some reason) an old camtypes.h left from Mar 24
which is included instead of the recent one ./PreComp/camtypes.h

Sorry for the noise, this is purely a local problem and is not related
to i386/amd64 but rather that my workstation (with the polluted
environment) is amd64. The error message misleadingly contained the
number 32 making me think that it is something related to the
architecture.

Sorry for the noise again and thanks for the attention!

Testing can show the presence of bugs, but not their absence.
