- Subject: [XaraXtreme-dev] Doing autoconf stuff before releasing
Hi,
most projects seem to release tarballs with a working configure skript,
i.e. they run the autoconf stuff before releasing. This allows even
novice users to run the well-known "./configure && make && make
install", and I'm sure there are other good reasons that I just don't
know because I don't know autoconf too well...
Anyways, is there a reason not to do that for the xaralx release
tarballs as well?
Greetings,
Joachim
