By the way, you /should/ be able to call ./configure with
--disable-international and --disable-svnversion without
a complete rebuild. They only control /what/ should get built.
The most you should have to do is "rm wxOil/svnversion.h".

If it doesn't work,  you can reenable them with
--enable-international and --enable-svnversion immediately.
